Mahama Warns Offensive Social Media Users Can Be Traced Through IP Addresses

John Dramani Mahama has warned that individuals behind offensive online posts can now be traced through their IP addresses as authorities strengthen efforts to tackle harmful digital content.

Speaking on the matter, he stated that the technology now exists to identify and track people responsible for such posts, adding that offenders could face action under the criminal code. Mahama said authorities are prepared to use digital tracing tools to locate individuals involved in unlawful online activity.
